Christopher is a dedicated and motivated member of chambers who approaches each case with a meticulous and analytical style. Prior to coming to the bar Christopher has worked in a variety of legal fields including at a legal 500 solicitors firm and as an assistant to a blind barrister. Described by Thorpe LJ as putting his arguments “compellingly” Christopher is a forthright advocate with an amiable manner.
Christopher is regularly instructed in all areas of family law including public law, private law, applications for injunctive relief and ancillary relief. Christopher has experience in the Court of Appeal, High Court, County Courts and FPC, representing local authorities, guardians and parents.
Christopher has dealt with matters involving cross-jurisdictional issues such as worldwide freezing injunctions and removal of children from England and Wales.
Christopher defends clients in the Crown Court, Magistrates Court and Youth Court receiving instructions in a variety of areas including public order offences, theft, robbery, road traffic, burglary, fraud, drugs offences and offences against the person.
In his spare time Christopher enjoys skiing, having previously worked as an instructor, golf and playing guitar.
