directions
The nearest tube stations are Temple and Blackfriars, both on the Circle and District Lines, with numerous buses stopping on Fleet Street. There is very limited parking available within the Temple but there are meters available in and around Tudor Street. The nearest car parks are off Shoe Lane and on Castle Baynard Street.

If you are walking from Blackfriars, walk up New Bridge Street, then take a left onto Tudor Street. At the end of Tudor Street, walk through the large gated arch and on entering the Temple, head up the slope and across the car park towards Temple Church. Continue past Temple Church on your right and 2 Dr Johnson’s Buildings is on Inner Temple Lane, which is to the right and behind the church.

FEES

The clerks will be happy to provide details of fees applicable for different types of privately funded work upon enquiry. It should be possible to provide estimates of the likely costs in the case of those clients who are in receipt of public funding.

VAT

All members of Chambers are VAT registered. Registration numbers will be supplied upon request to the clerks.

COMPLAINTS/FEEDBACK

We are extremely keen to provide good quality service to both professional and lay clients alike. As members of the Independent Bar we are regulated by the Bar Standards Board and if any client wishes to raise a grievance they can contact Stephen Lavell, Senior Clerk, who will refer any issues to Mark Love, Head of Chambers. Any complaint will be thoroughly investigated. If any individual would like to raise a complaint externally then they are entitled to complain to the Legal Ombudsman at enquiries@legalombudsman.org.uk.
