Profile: Before joining the bar Gayle worked for a North London solicitors firm for 18 months in their criminal department. She has a keen interest in Human Rights having spent time in the US working on death penalty cases.
Her busy criminal practice includes; sexual and violent assault (including domestic violence), public order, driving, theft, robbery and drugs. In addition she has dealt with many mental health clients, and represented numerous youths in the most serious of multi-handed cases in the Youth Court.
To gain experience in Family Law, Gayle completed a Family pupillage. She has developed a strong family practice including applications for injunctive relief, as well as both private and public children matters. She also has experience of ancillary relief proceedings.
As well as being seconded to HM Revenue and Customs Gayle has also regularly prosecuted for the Department of Work and Pensions. In addition Gayle is building experience in prison law.
