Profile: Michael is a specialist criminal defence barrister.
He is adept at dealing with defendants who are mentally disordered or violent. He has great experience in dealing with young defendants of either sex.
His practice includes cases of murder and manslaughter variously involving firearms, knives and other serious and gang related violence in north and south London.
Michael has experience of defending in many cases investigated by the Metropolitan Police Trident unit.
Michael also undertakes work in the areas of organised crime, serious sexual offences, fraud, drugs, kidnapping, armed robbery, arson and possession of firearms.
In the last few years Michael has also defended in many multi-defendant conspiracy to rob trials relating to cash in transit to high street banks.
Michael has gained a justified reputation for skilfully dealing with the most demanding and sensitive cases together with securing acquittals in difficult circumstances.
