Our mini pupillage application process has now changed.
Applications for mini pupillages are now open four times per year. These are broken down to roughly match the terms of the legal year:
i. Hilary term: deadline of 4:00pm 01 December 2022 for a mini pupillage between 01 January 2023 to 31 March 2023;
ii. Easter term: deadline of 4:00pm 01 March 2023 for a mini pupillage between 01 April 2023 to 31 June 2023;
iii. Trinity term: deadline of 4:00pm 01 June 2023 for a mini pupillage between 01 July 2023 to 31 September 2023; and
iv. Michaelmas term: deadline of 4:00pm 01 September 2023 for a mini pupillage between 01 October 2023 and 31 December 2023.
If you are interested in applying for a mini pupillage, please send your CV and single page covering letter, both in PDF format, to pupillage@2drj.com. Please use the subject line ‘Mini Pupillage Application – FAO Tom Gilchrist’.
Your cover letter must also detail whether you prefer to undertake a criminal mini pupillage, a family mini pupillage or if you seek to do both. You must also include the dates you are unable to undertake a mini pupillage as successful applicants will be assigned dates to undertake their mini pupillage in their acceptance email.
Do not send in an application for a term when the preceding term is yet to start. Any application not complying with the above directions will be automatically rejected.
